Let's "Wine" about it - A Hallmark Vineyard Movie Round-Up With Love On The Pod

It's five o'clock somewhere so, grab a glass and settle in, because Love on the Pod is uncorking a vineyard adventure this week! From cozy autumn landscapes to the romantic streets of Paris, we're swirling and sipping our way through a selection of movies that will whisk you away to the heart of wine country.

Sherri's got the perfect movies to warm your soul as the leaves change, while Danielle will have you saying, "Oui Oui" to her Parisian pick. And Jessica? She's bringing the perfect selections that will transport you to stunning landscapes and romantic getaways, raising a toast to love and laughter along the way.

So lift your glass and tune in to Episode 11, a Hallmark Vineyard Movie Round-Up with Love on the Pod, and let us know if you agree with our picks.

Speaking of wine, what's your happy hour hero? When you're kicking back and unwinding after a long day, do you reach for the zesty crispness of a Sauvignon Blanc or the deep, rich complexity of a Syrah? Maybe a bubbly Prosecco is more your style? Here at Love on the Pod, we might not be sommeliers, but we definitely know what we like in a glass.

You know what pairs perfectly with a good vineyard movie? A good bottle of wine, of course!  We're not ashamed to admit we were this close to cracking open a few bottles while recording our latest episode about vineyards (all in the name of research, naturally). But since we're usually sipping coffee rather than Cabernet during our early morning recordings, we decided instead to share some of our all-time favorite wine picks with you. Whether you're into bold reds, crisp whites, or something in between, we've got a tasting menu of recommendations that will make your taste buds sing.

Did you know two of your Love on the Pod hosts are lucky enough to live within driving distance of some of the most stunning vineyards and wineries in the Pacific Northwest? Danielle is particularly fond of Lake Chelan Winery, an enchanting oasis nestled in the heart of Washington wine country.

Imagine this: a sun-drenched afternoon strolling through lush vineyards, a glass of award-winning wine in hand, and the sweet aroma of BBQ wafting through the air. Add some live music and the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Chelan, and you've got the perfect recipe for a day of relaxation and pure indulgence.

Have you ever taken a sip of wine and been instantly transported back to a cherished memory? That's exactly what happens to Sherri whenever she enjoys a glass of Pasek Cellars Cranberry Wine. Its light sweetness and crisp, tart flavor evoke images of cozy Christmas evenings spent in a snowy log cabin, surrounded by loved ones. Made from locally grown Washington cranberries, this unique wine is the perfect way to add a touch of festive cheer (and a taste of the Pacific Northwest) to any holiday gathering.

Summer is Sangria season, and guess what? Jessica's got a secret weapon for the most delicious, budget-friendly batch you've ever tasted. Ready for it? Drumroll please...it's Kirkland Signature Sangria from Costco! That's right, your favorite warehouse store is also home to a hidden gem of a Sangria that's bursting with fruity goodness. Just add a scoop of frozen berries for an extra chill, and you've got the ultimate summer cocktail that's both refreshing and easy on the wallet. Trust us, your tastebuds will thank you.

Hold onto your wine glasses, Hallmarkies, because we've got a confession to make: we're totally smitten with Hallmark's very own Hallmark Channel Wine Collection! With names like Holly, Joy, Summer Splash, and Autumn Dreams, these wines practically scream "cozy movie night." But hey, don't just take our word for it. Sherri, our resident Elvis enthusiast (blue suede shoes and all!), is absolutely head over heels for the Christmas at Graceland Zinfandel. Think notes of blueberries, plums, and a hint of holiday spice—basically, Elvis's "Blue Christmas" in a bottle.

Cheers to you for joining us on this "wine-derful" journey through vineyards and movie magic! If you're thirsty for more, be sure to uncork Episode 11 of Love on the Pod for all our movie picks and wine recommendations. And remember, as you raise a glass to your next viewing party, enjoy those libations responsibly! Listen to Episode 11 now!
